Description

Dom Pérignon Rosé expresses this timeless desire to explore the edge, harnessing the raw power of the red of the pinot noir grape in a radiant assemblage. The palate is finely creamy and full-bodied with layers of spicy red fruit, very fine toast with nougat, hazelnut and patisserie. Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 is radiant, its fruit appears with all its majesty, round, rich and generous.

Back then, the 2006 was a wine of tremendous potential; today that potential is starting to be realized.Setting aside the accepted Champagne canon and reinterpreting convention, Dom Pérignon liberated the 2008 vintage with a bold assemblage created with pinot noir grapes from the "Chants de Linottes" parcels in Hautvillers and the "Vauzelles" parcels in Aÿ, whose fruit and structure balance the tension between the precision and natural radiance of the wines with more body and weight.

The revamped Red wine range now runs as follows: Fos Maceration Carbonica, an unoaked lunchtime Rioja. v=1650101665","options":["Title"],"media":[{"alt":null,"id":20721055498291,"position":1,"preview_image":{"aspect_ratio":1. Then you look deeper and you get some of the darker fruits like dark cherry, blackberry and spicy redcurrant; this is quite seductive.

This jewel holds the secret to eternal life: after being aged for 10 years before being released, it still has the same light-heartedness, impetuosity and vivacity, the vitality of the fruit is intact.

The weather was mostly warm with little rain, however a heatwave in August followed by a cool and rainy September moderated initial anticipation. The initial sensations are tactile, full-bodied and silky as they unfold like a caress, gradually becoming bolder. Read Jancis Robinson's review of our recent Dom Pérignon Retrospective tasting - including scores, tasting notes and a league table of all 23 champagnes tasted, spanning 1990-2009. The rise of the single grain is eagerly anticipated as the next wave in the spirits industry-and Haig Club Deluxe is at the forefront of the movement. Full-bodied, broad and rich, it’s dense and phenolic due to the approximately 15% still red wine sourced from grapes planted in the villages of Hautvilliers, Aÿ and Bouzy, culminating in a protracted, sapid and chalky finish. Far from the driest-tasting champagne you will encounter - perhaps thanks to the still Pinot Noir element - even though apparently the dosage is only 5 g/l.

Champagne / France Producer Notes It reflects a deep impulse to question everything, to embrace risk, experiment freely and to always go further. After blending, bottling and second fermentation the Special Cuvée will rest for a minimum of three years on its lees to allow the aromatic complexity to fully develop. The 2008 Dom Pérignon Rosé continues to drink brilliantly, exhibiting aromas of orange, red berries, pear, pastry, spices and some smoke with time in the glass. v=1650101660","width":540},{"alt":null,"id":21648439771187,"position":4,"preview_image":{"aspect_ratio":0.

Medium weight, with a bouquet of crunchy red fruits, that picks up some tangerine zest on the back of the palate. Aged for 13 years in the cellars before release, "Dom Perignon Rosé" is Moet's deluxe cuvée which is produced from Pinot Noir grapes from only the best vineyards.
