Description

To help explain the cards, the box comes with a handy little instruction leaflet, and we found the you tube video online super helpful to explain it to everyone all at the same time.

Word Disassociation Card: Totally opposite to the above but for this card you need to find two words that have no link what so ever, so for our example letters it could be: Jam and Boundary. Players then take it in turns to play a card from their pile to one of three piles in the centre of the table. If the two letters on the table are troublesome, like Q and Z, players can agree to move the action card clockwise to reveal a new letter. The cards are colourful yet functional, the play is fast and accessible and the turn over between games is very quick, as is the play time.

From inventors and explorers to politicians and athletes, from conflicts and treaties to agriculture and industry this game covers it all. Word Association: say two words that are associated by some kind of tenuous link (like Gold and Frankincense – they’re linked, okay? Players must use one adjective and one noun starting with each of the letters to describe something. America’s National Parks are the country’s most prized treasures and host millions of visitors every year. All action cards require players to shout out an answer which uses those two letters (see ‘Action Cards’ below).

PARTY GAME: Noggin can be played after dinner, taken out as a bar game, or brought out as a fun party game. The basics of Noggin are fairly simple; Take 3 of the LETTER cards and place them face up in front of the players.

The idea of us all switching off mobile devices and sitting around the table takes me back to the rainy days of my childhood. Only because of the famous people initials card, hence why we adapted it slightly for our little boy. In a Fastest Thinker First Frenzy players take turns to deal their playing cards, a combination of Letter Cards and Action Cards, down on three piles of Letter Cards. ACTION CARDS: there are seven different action cards which may appear - Bookend, Describe It, Middle Letters, Initials, Word Association, Word Disassociation and Neither Letter! Learn to identify different species and discover interesting facts about their habitat and behavior.

But the important thing is that this is a game that will be played and will be played a lot – the last people I played with had bought a copy before the end of our third game. Then take that card and add it to your winning pile – the player with the most action cards at the end is the winner! It was brain-frazzling fun, we all had such a brilliant time playing it, in fact we played it for the whole evening!
