Description

I love this album, I think it is better than Now 84 and last summer's Now 82 and probably on par with Now 83. first reissued 2009 for the 25th anniversary, then again 20 July 2018 to coincide with Now 100) re-issued on 2CD (gatefold in 2009, jewel case in 2018), audio cassette, and a 2LP vinyl release. Tracks with an asterisk (*) next to their title have also been included in special releases from the series. There seems to be an ongoing trend with old hits being re-released too (I can only assume this is because they know this year's X Factor single before everyone else or that there is an artist about to bring out some cover of it). The fastest selling artist album of 2013 so far is Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, which clocked up more than 165,000 copies in its first week on sale back in May.

There’s also three potential chart toppers from Breach ( Jack), Sebastian Ingrosso ( Relaod) and Pink FT Lily Rose Cooper ( True Love) too! I normally collect the Now CDs as they come out as you are normally guaranteed some current and good tracks on one CD collection. A triple-CD only release, Yearbook Extra: The Collectors Edition, is issued a few weeks later; these include lesser known tracks and more songs by big artists included on the main album and they are released only in standard gatefold wallet packaging. Each numerical NOW release also features "NOW Presents What's Next" tracks, previewing tomorrow's biggest hits.gutted that they didn't put any karmin on this cd and I do think there are a few other great songs that perhaps could have been included no matter still sounds great and yes I am amongst the fans of collecting most the now cds used to always get a now cd when every Christmas many years back I mean it was a family tradition when we were younger mum and dad always got us the yearly pop star annual and a now tape . Apart from that this album is pretty much spot on, It has 44 tracks the same as the last 2 summer albums 79 and 82 which is pretty much what I was expecting, and all the number 1's since Now 84 are included. These are brilliant albums if you want to keep up to date with the latest pop tracks and are always easy to listen to, with the swear words cut on the more edgy ones so kids can listen as well. July 2019) re-issued on 2-CD - 28 tracks with only Bob Marley and the Wailers and Gary Glitter missing.

The series is then moved forward again, with the release of Now Yearbook 1992 in July 2023 (an Extra followed in August).the Sunday one day before the release date in the UK on the latest album, looks like it will again have to settle for a place on Now 86. They are also notable as being the first time a Now series had released a compilation of hits from the years 1980 to 1982. Now Dance 92 (2 November 1992) Uniquely, 2-LP/2-MC/CD* with 12" mixes,*single CD with abridged tracklisting and 7" edits.

The Special Editions series includes a wide range of Now anniversary collections, different music genres, eras, and decades, as well as commercial tie-ins with Smash Hits, Disney, Eurovision, HMV and the Official Chart Company. The Official Charts Company reported the album as the fastest selling album in 2013, selling 317,376 copies in its first week of sales.

There’s everything from massive from Daft Punk ( Get Lucky) to Robin Thicke ( Blurred Lines), and Ant and Dec (AKA PJ and Duncan) with Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble. A standard 4-CD version is also issued in a gatefold "wallet" design, which retails cheaper than the mini-hardback books. Initially, a special edition of a Now compilation was quite rare, and between 1994 and 2002, there weren't any released at all.
