About this deal

Urasawa later wrote and illustrated the novel Another Monster, a story detailing the events of the manga from an investigative reporter's point of view, which was published in 2002.

It was published by Shogakukan in their Big Comic Original magazine between 1994 and 2001, with the chapters collected and reprinted into 18 tankōbon volumes. It's really something else, to the point where artwork adds just as much to the story as the writing. Naoki Urasawa’s career as a manga artist spans more than twenty years and has firmly established him as one of the true manga masters of Japan. I am not a big manga fan but this had a good storyline that will keep you guessing and make you want to keep reading the series. Besides it being a two-in-one collection, the size of the volume is now with the standard width and length of the rest of the Viz Signature line, so it should fit easier next to those volumes on your shelves. There is an anime adaption that covered the entire series and used to be owned by Viz before it was dropped (only 15 episodes were ever released on DVD). Naoki Urasawa (浦沢 直樹 Urasawa Naoki, born January 2, 1960 in Fuchū, Tokyo) is a Japanese manga artist and occasional musician.

Kenzo, who is so desperately trying to make the right decisions and help others, is left deeply affected and only now realises what big moral decision he was facing. He also crosses paths with Detective Lunge, who becomes obsessed with capturing Johan and unravels the secrets behind his existence, including harrowing experiments, child abuse, and psychological manipulation. Monster (Japanese: モンスター, stylized as 🢒M⊙NS†ER🢐) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoki Urasawa. If you're running a script or application, please register or sign in with your developer credentials here. Secondly, once the story gets past the hospital-centric intro, the characterisation really improves, and Urasawa stops dwelling on this caricaturish conflict between an evil employer and a good employee.Der Zeichenstil mag auf den ersten Blick nicht besonders schon, mindestens gewöhnungsbedürftig sein, aber die Story hat es sowas von in sich. It’s not consistent with how he looks much later in the book, even after a time skip when it should be like he aged a bit.
